Datsun Go Exterior & Style

The Go gets a series of visual updates and they do their job rather well. While the trademark hexagonal grille gets a new mesh, the talking point at the front is the new bumper. More angular and sportier, even more than the original Go’s, the bumper immediately gives the hatchback’s face more personality. Also, new to the Go are LED DRLs, though they are only unique to the new top-spec T(O) versions. At the sides, it’s the larger wheels that immediately distinguish the updated car – upsized to 14-inches and shod with 165/70 tyres, they enhance the Go’s stance. Diamond-cut alloy wheels, like the ones on the car pictured here, are exclusive to the T(O) variant. They do so much for the look that they are worth stretching your budget for. Of the other things, the body-coloured caps for the wing mirrors are also new. The roof rails you see on the pictured car are from Datsun’s accessories range and are just for show – they can’t lift any load.

The revised Go’s rear end is identifiable by the new bumper and a chrome lip at the base of the tail gate. While it is not a design detail, the rear wiper is also a fresh inclusion on the top-spec version. There’s no rear defogger, however. In all, the Go looks far more appealing than before, with the new Amber Orange colour also helping give the car a more youthful persona.

Datsun GO Interior & Look

Unlike the exterior, the interiors are brand new. While the overall plastic quality is only slightly better, there is an all-new dashboard which gets a much cleaner layout. Its all-black in the GO and dual-tone in the GO+. The centre AC vent design has been changed as well and they are now a part of the the top layer of the dashboard. The non-adjustable steering wheel is the same unit as before but now comes in black. There is a brushed aluminium-like plastic cladding, which makes it look more premium. There are no buttons for audio or phone calls here, a feature which would have been a definite value addition. The instrument cluster is now borrowed from the Micra. When compared to the outgoing models, the new versions get an analog tachometer on the left. The small orange backlit MID (multi-info display) at the bottom displays the odometer, trip metre, distance-to-empty, time and fuel level. Strangely, there is no lane change indicator, which is a very basic yet useful feature, on both the cars. For Datsun GO visit kmindia.in

The biggest change here as to be the centre console, which now features a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system. This system is responsive to use and features crisp graphics for menus. It also supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity apart from the usual USB, Bluetooth and Aux inputs. Datsun will also offer a rear parking camera as an accessory, which sends the video feed to this screen. Sadly, the disappointing audio quality from the two-speaker setup takes away from the experience a bit. Below the touchscreen are knobs for the manual AC. The USB and AUX-in ports are placed a bit oddly on the panel below the gear shifter, away from the line of sight.

The gear lever is no longer a ‘floating’ unit as there is centre console compartment going all the way to the bottom. The 12V socket has been retained, but the cap is still not attached or connected to the socket, making it easy to misplace. And following customer feedback, the dash-mounted handbrake lever has been removed and has been replaced with a conventional lever between the seats.Speaking of seats, Datsun has reworked them and they are now called ‘Anti-Fatigue Seats’ These feel well cushioned and supports your backs even on longer journeys. However, there is no height adjustment for the driver’s seat, while the steering wheel continues to be non adjustable. This can make finding a comfortable driving position a bit tricky. Nevertheless, you now get electrically adjustable ORVMs, which is an added convenience.

Although the rear seat offers adequate headroom and legroom, you sit a bit low with the knees pointing upwards, which gives you the impression that the seats lack under-thigh support. Shoulder room feels wider than cars in its category and is just enough to squeeze three average-sized adults, albeit for shorter journeys. Sadly, there are a few things missing here as well, including adjustable headrests, rear centre armrest and lack of storage options as you only have one centre bottle holder and seat back pockets.

Datsun Go Engine & Gearbox

The Go uses the same 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine as before, and its 68hp and 104Nm power and torque figures, respectively, are par for the course for this class of car. Still, performance is more than adequate for town. Initial response is a bit meek, but by 2,000rpm the engine gets into its rhythm and makes the Go feel peppy and light on its feet. The Datsun is quite well-suited to the urban grind, though the 5-speed gearbox should have been smoother in its shifts.

The Go picks up pace smartly, but the engine runs out of steam at highway speeds. Cross 80kph and you’ll also sound off the speed buzzer – a new addition that will be required by law, come April 2019. The Go is not a car that you’d be inclined to drive much faster than needed, to begin with. The light body (it tips the scales at 846kg) tends to move about in crosswinds, and it isn’t as sure-footed under hard braking as we’d have liked either. Still, the inclusion of ABS makes a world of a difference to confidence behind the wheel. Ride quality is good, if on the firmer side, for the most part and what also comes handy on patchy surfaces is the 180mm of ground clearance.

Datsun Go Driving Dynamics

Both cars get a 10mm (180mm) bump in ground clearance thanks to the larger 14-inch wheels. This has also lead to a slightly different suspension setup, which, in this case, is better than before. The suspension takes on speed breakers and undulations with ease, cushions you well. This characteristic is even retained at higher speeds, as the car remains stable over broken roads and bad patches. What’s even more impressive is that both cars are quick to settle down after hitting a pothole or bump. At triple digit speeds, both cars feel a bit bouncy, but that’s something which is common across this category of cars. For more info on Datsun Go  visit aryavarta.co.in

Although engine noise is better insulated than before, the floorboard insulation still feels lacking as even the smallest pebble hit makes a sharp noise inside the cabin. Overall, the NVH levels have been improved to a point where it is now acceptable. As far as handling is concerned, both cars are best suited for city use. The steering is light and lets you make quick turns or u-turns in traffic. However, the feedback from the unit feels a bit vague at high speeds and sudden lane changes doesn’t inspire much confidence. A slightly heavier steering would have gone a long way to help with that. Body roll never becomes an issue inside the city, but you will feel it in the GO+ on the highways.

Datsun Go Safety & Security

The Datsun GO features safety bits such as driver side airbag, co-passenger airbag, ABS with EBD and brake assist, rear parking sensors, central locking and driver seatbelt warning as standard across the line-up. It additionally comes with rear washer, rear defogger and rear wiper. Braking power on the entry-level hatchback is derived from disc front brakes and rear drum units.

Datsun Go Price in Chennai

Datsun Go On-Road Price in Chennai ranges from 4,86,489 to 9,68,586 for variants Go D and Go T Optional respectively. Datsun Go is available in 5 variants and 6 colours. Below are details of Datsun Go variants price in Chennai. Check for GO price in Chennai at Carzprice.

Datsun Go Verdict

The Datsun GO 2018 facelift gets styling changes on the outside as well as inside. Datsun has also packed additional features such as a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment unit, which is a segment-first feature. Overall, it is a better package than the pre-facelift version. The changes to the Go make it feel significantly better than before. It feels like a more wholesome package and its appeal finally goes beyond the promise of low running and maintenance costs that Datsun has relied on to pull in buyers so far. While only a straight up comparison with the likes of the Tata Tiago and Maruti Suzuki WagonR will tell if it’s the best car for the money, the Go has certainly become far easier to recommend than ever before.

L-1 Versus H-1B Visas : Switching From One Visa To The Other

emikolo.com

If you have either an H-1B or an L-1 visa and see that the other visa is better for your situation, you may want to make the change for the sake of your immigration future.

While switching from an H-1B to an L-1 is less common due to the fact that you must have worked for one full year in the three years leading up to your petition. Check for H1B Visa Process in UT Evaluators

However, many people choose to change their status from an L-1 to an H-1B visa. This could be either due to the greater flexibility or the opportunity to work for a different employer.

To do this, you will need to find an employer who is willing to sponsor you for an H-1B visa. If this employer is cap-subject, you will not be able to have your petition submitted until the lottery window opens on the first business day in April and you will not be able to start working as an H-1B worker until October 1st of that same year.

If you are going with a cap-exempt employer, then you can start working as soon as your I-129 is approved without having to wait for the cap filing window. You will also not have to wonder whether or not your petition will be selected.

You will need to make sure that you have at least a bachelor’s degree that is related to the specialty position for which you have a job offer. The USCIS will heavily scrutinize the specialty nature of the position, so it may be best to retain the services of an H-1B attorney to ensure that you qualify.

H-1B vs L-1: Key Differences

iiitdm.in

DIFFERENCE RELATED TO EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

As previously mentioned, the H-1B recipients must retain specialized knowledge in the field and possess at minimum a bachelor’s degree or equivalent. At a minimum, a bachelor’s degree/equivalent or higher constitutes eligibility for an H-1B visa. Check for H1B Visa Process in UT Evaluators

However, in certain instances, the education requirements may be substituted with hands-on work experience. The key is that you have a relevant degree/work experience for the job accompanying the H-1B visa.

For instance, just because you have a bachelor’s degree in Marine Biology, doesn’t mean you’ll be qualified for an H-1B visa to work as a Mechanical Engineer. Conversely, there is no degree or educational requirement for an L-1 and the specialized knowledge does not need to be in a specific field as is the case with the H-1B.

DIFFERENCE RELATED TO EMPLOYER ELIGIBILITY

The petition process varies significantly between the H-1B visa and L-1 visas.

Only multinational companies qualify for L-1 visas. This status is for individuals who have a prior work history with the company but live in a foreign country. An L-1 visa must be filed by an intra-company transferee which means that the individual was employed for an entire year (within the past three years before filing the L-1 visa petition). If this consideration is not met, or the enterprise is not multinational, an L-1 visa is no longer a viable option. For H1B Visa Process Visit here

An H-1B visa, on the other hand, can be petitioned for by any United States-based company, assuming the other requirements are met. Once granted, however, the visa is valid only to work for that specific employer or corporation.

BMW X1 Features, Transmission & Test Drive

BMW X1 Overview

The X1 is one popular entry level compact Crossover from the premium Auto manufacturer BMW, launched almost 6 years ago and it was a grand success across the globe and sold more than 730,000 units worldwide. Although this was a much smaller vehicle compared to bigger X series SUV like the X3, X5 and X6 but the X1 still carried all the styling cues from the bigger BMW X models which set it apart from the rest of the Crossover available out there.

Check for BMW X1 On Road Price in Ahmedabad

Recently BMW introduced the second generation X1 and there is no doubt in the fact that it looks more mature, proportionate and dynamic than its predecessor. Apart from the styling the X1 also hosts a couple of new features which is worth mentioning including the full LED headlamps as an option, Dynamic damper controls, BMW heads up display and lastly the Driving Assistant Plus system. Book a test drive for BMW X1 in Hyderabad at Tryaldrive.

The new X1 is also taller than the previous generation vehicle which also has raised the seating position of both the front and rear passengers which actually is an added advantage for the person driving the SUV because they can now get a commanding view of the road ahead. The space inside the Crossover has also increased comparatively which means more seating comfort inside for the passengers. What is even more interesting is also the fact that for the very first time BMW has launched any SUV with the front wheel drive system, the X1 uses the new UKL platform which is also used by the Mini Cooper. Beside the front wheel drive BMW has also equipped the new generation X1 with two petrol and three diesel units which also belongs from the family of BMW’s new family of engines.

BMW X1 Exteriors

The good news here isthat the new X1 looks more purposeful and SUV-like than the car it replaces; one of the reasons the earlier X1 didn’t do too well. It has a buff front end, SUV overtones, and a marked improvement in street creed courtesy larger dimensions. As mentioned earlier, the new X1 is taller than the outgoing model, plus, it sits higher off the ground and is wider as well. And though it is shorter in both length and wheelbase compared to the older X1, it still manages to look bigger.

Additionally, it has a better-defined design language. We are no fans of how the new X1 looks from the front – it’s a little dowdy if you ask us – but from the rear three quarter, with its wrap around LED tail lamps, the upward swooping shoulder line and tapering roof, not to mention the gorgeous 18-inch wheels, the new X1 does draw glances. And if we consider the M Sport variant, the new X1 looks more desirable too.

BMW X1 Interiors

Looking at the generous dimensions of the vehicle on the outside, I was a bit surprised when I opened the door to step into the driver’s seat. The cabin feels compact and even the dashboard and centre console seem to have a compact layout. Just like any other BMW, ergonomics are spot on and the dash is very driver centric. Materials used all over feel very upmarket and premium but when you drive this X1 back to back with any other car from the same stable, say the 3-Series, that is when you realise how superior the other car feels.

There are lesser number of buttons on the steering wheel, centre console, etc. and even though you do get a lot of features, the X1 does make you feel evident that yes it is one of the cheapest BMWs around. Even the round knob that is used to control the infotainment system is smaller in size. I found the front seats very comfortable and finding that perfect driving position is super easy thanks to the electric seat controls. The driving position itself feels much like that of a crossover and if you’re expecting a proper SUV-like driving position that feels commanding, then you’ll be disappointed. For BMW X1 visit tec.net.in

The rear seats are comfortable too and space is better than the old X1. You also get a basic centre armrest at the rear. The best part about the new X1 is the large windows that BMW has endowed and it makes the cabin feel very airy and lends a positive vibe. Gone is the claustrophobic feel that you get in cars with smaller glass areas. If you’re buying a car for Rs. 40 odd lakhs you expect it to have a ton of fancy gizmos (a la Skoda Superb or Ford Endeavour) but BMW is known to skip a lot of features from the standard equipment list and the X1 is no different. It misses out on vital stuff like a parking camera. It doesn’t even have cruise control.

BMW X1 Performance

The BMW X1 comes with the same 2.0-litre oil burner that also provides grunt to the 3-Series. The new B47 unit has improved over the older N47 plant and this time it comes mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission from Aisin rather than ZF. Acceleration pace is pretty good and 0-100 km/hr comes up in 7.8 seconds which isn’t too bad. The biggest change here is the fact that the new X1 is a darn front wheel drive car while it also gets an AWD option. Also gone is the manual handbrake of the older model which is replaced by a puny little button. A little less sideways fun now, eh?

The diesel engine puts out 190 BHP of power and 400 Nm of torque. Switch on the car and start driving and the first thing you notice is that the engine feels a tad bit noisier in the cabin, especially compared to the 320d. There is some amount of turbo lag which isn’t really bothersome and the X1 chugs around nicely with low throttle inputs needed inside the city. The Aisin tranny is good at its job and cogs are changed smoothly.

On the highways, the BMW X1 properly comes to life when the RPM needle starts hovering around the mid way mark. There is a very good surge of power and the compact SUV gathers pace quickly enough to touch 200 km/hr without making you wait for long. Eco Pro mode is best used in the city when you want to extract a couple of extra kms by compromising a bit on the power delivery. Comfort mode as you all know is suited for both city as well as highway driving while Sport mode holds on to the RPMs much longer, thus providing power as soon as you mash the throttle. Expect a fuel efficiency of 12-13 km/l if driven sanely and if you’ve had Redbull before stepping into the car then your wings (and fast driving!) will bring the efficiency down by a couple of kms per litre.

BMW X1 driving

Ride is probably the new BMW X1’s weakest link. At slow speeds, it is firm which means there’s unnecessary bobbing. And if you happen to hit a pothole, a poorly resurfaced section or even a manhole cover, the X1 sends a rude jolt inside the cabin along with a noisy thud. At speed, it jiggles and the thudding over poor surfaces continues unabated. The 50 profile runflats are to blame here, of course, but the suspension setup is equally suspect.

At least the X1 handles well. It has a quick steering, a fairly responsive front end that turns into bends without a fuss, and though it rolls under hard cornering, grip and chassis balance on the X1 is impressive. It’s great under braking too – hunkered down, stable and unaffected by the change in surface. However, we would have preferred the brakes to be a little less grabby in the initial bit of travel, which makes modulation a bit challenging. These refuse to fade as well.

BMW X1 Safety

The BMW X1 comes with safety features like 6 airbags, ABS, EBD, BA, DTC, CBC, DSC, Runflat Indicator, etc. The automaker also has a widely spread sales and service network in major cities in India.

BMW X1 Price in Chennai

Bmw X1 On-Road Price in Chennai ranges from 38,97,052 to 51,34,339 for variants X1 sDrive20d Expedition and X1 xDrive20d M Sport respectively. Bmw X1 is available in 2 variants and 7 colours. Below are details of Bmw X1 variants price in Chennai. Check for BMW X1 price in Chennai at Carzprice.

BMW X1 Round Up

We absolutely loved the new X1 styling and added features both on its exterior as well as interior. Although what we loved the most is that BMW has also taken care of the interior room and now this compact Crossover comes with extra bit of room for both its front as we all rear seats passengers. The refreshed new engine too is a boon for the Crossover which provides better power delivery along with improved fuel efficiency. This is also the very first time that the X1 ditches its RWD and adapts FWD which will be preferred by many. The new-gen X1 will showcased in some upcoming auto shows and will be launched towards the month of October and we Indians have to wait until the next year to get a glimpse of this Crossover.

H-1B Visa Interview : H1B Change Of Status vs Consular Processing

iiitdm.in

Our firm often gets asked the question: which is better, consular processing or change of status? The answer usually depends on your situation and whether or not you are inside the U.S. If you are overseas, then you do not have a choice and must go through consular processing.

Ideally, most H1B applicants would want to change their status rather than go through consular processing. Check for H1B Visa Process in UT Evaluators

This is because the change of status happens automatically once you begin your employment, requiring no further action from either you or your employer. Consular processing subjects you to the rules and waiting periods of the particular consulate or embassy that you use, which usually includes an H1B interview.

One main drawback to using consular processing is this: your visa could be denied regardless of whether or not your petition is approved.

The immigration officer in charge of your interview process has the authority to deny your visa and also to suspend a decision on your case for an indefinite amount of time. This can sometimes result in having your I-129 approval expire before the consulate makes a decision.

However, if you are in the U.S. you can opt for consular processing if you would like to have greater control over the validation start date of your visa. Here is an example to illustrate. Julio is in the U.S. under TN status and has an approved H-1B petition.

He wants to apply for a green card, but cannot do so under TN status. Therefore he opts for consular processing so that he can “activate” his H1B status as soon as he is ready to apply for a green card.

Some may consider attempting to enter the U.S. through a different visa status (such as B-2 or J-1) so that they can simply apply for a change of status to get an H1B visa. For H1B Visa Process Visit here

However, the B-2 only grants you a six-month stay, which is often not enough time to obtain an H1B. The J-1 visa holder must comply with the directors of his or her sponsoring program, and so can easily encounter unnecessary complications. Audi A4 Facelift Review & First Drive

Audi A4 Overview

In an effort to compliment Audi enthusiasts who appreciate a good stick shift and, obviously, ease the news that Audi won’t be offering the A4 and the A5 with the option of a manual transmission from the 2019 model year onwards, it’s said that the company will introduce the A4 Ultra Sport Edition. It is a limited-edition car only 40 of which will be produced and sold, presumably to Audi lovers. Despite the sad news of Audi discontinuing its offering of the manual on their popular models, the A4 Ultra Sport Edition is actually a fitting adieu to the stick shift. In order to make it as impressive as possible, Audi gave it a number of pieces to differentiate it from the rest of the lineup. Audi A4 Exterior

The A4 diesel shares its design with the petrol-powered model, meaning it looks neat, classy and inoffensive in typical Audi fashion. The understated yet impressive design is part of the reason Audi has revelled in big success with B7 and B8 gen A4 models that have aged rather well. This latest-gen A4 is slightly longer and wider than its predecessor but retains the balanced stance nonetheless. That said, there is a lot more in terms of sharp creases and clever detailing than the previous car; the front-end for instance houses the signature Audi grille which sits lower and is broader than before. The all LED headlights, too, are different with their serrated lower edges.

Like the headlamps, the rear lights are also LEDs with the sharp recesses in their detailing. Interestingly, the only design bit differentiating the diesel model is the twin exhaust pipes (petrol-powered A4 gets a single tailpipe). Overall, despite the sharpened front, there’s comparatively less in the way of dramatic swoops and creases and more in the way of understated modesty that we have come to expect from Audi sedans.

Audi A4 Interiors

The interiors of the A4 diesel are similar to the petrol model that we drove earlier. Our test car had an all-black theme with wood inserts and it looked sporty. The steering wheel gets an aluminum insert at the bottom while the centre console gets the familiar MMI system with the control knob and other buttons. The MMI is intuitive to use and has a lot of functions. Sound quality from the audio system is good but not as eargasmic as other high-end cars. The Virtual Cockpit is the best part about the A4 and the inbuilt navigation which shows detailed information is very good. The front seats are comfortable and have good adjustment options while at the rear, space is a bit restrained and kneeroom is tight while the seats continue to remain a good place to be in.

Audi A4 Gearbox

The petrol-powered A4 may have a relatively small engine for its class but this diesel-powered model is right up there with the rest when it comes to displacement and power figures. Speaking of which, the 2-litre, four-cylinder turbo diesel motor makes 190bhp of power and 400Nm of torque. More importantly, the new A4 diesel is quite a bit lighter than the old car (thanks to usage of aluminium in construction) which means the engine has less weight to lug around. This motor has always been a sprightly and willing little thing and now with the less weight and a much quicker dual-clutch automatic gearbox (as against the CVT in the old A4), performance is strong right from the word go. There is a hint of turbo lag at lower revs but because of the broad torque band, this engine pulls strong once past 1,800rpm, revving out till 4,500rpm without sounding coarse at all. It is, in fact, incredibly refined for the most part and remains quiet and smooth even when worked hard. Check for Audi A4 in  cidoc2015.in

There’s a clean surge of power off the line and the A4 diesel gets up to speed rapidly enough. So much so that it does 0-100kmph in 7.94 seconds which is impressive considering that the more powerful Mercedes C250d hits the same mark in 7.34 seconds. That said, it’s the BMW 320d M-Sport that’s still the quickest accelerating executive sedan, taking just 7.14 seconds (thanks to launch control). In terms of in-gear acceleration, the Audi’s got the better of its rivals – it took all of 5.79 seconds to complete the 40-100kmph sprint, as against 6.12 seconds and 5.87 seconds for the 320d and C250d respectively. The A4’s surprisingly quick in-gear times has a lot to do with the 7-speed DSG that now comes as standard. As you would expect, this dual-clutch unit manages shifts with superb intuition, swapping cogs quickly when worked hard. Even under normal driving conditions, the gearshifts are silky smooth and right when you need them. Thankfully, the indecisive response from standstill – a typical DSG trait – can be hardly felt in this car. The different driving modes (including Comfort, Dynamic, Auto and Individual) do not change the way the suspension works but they do alter the DSG’s responsiveness – the gearbox hangs onto lower gears, shifts up at higher rpm in Dynamic and in Comfort, begins freewheeling as soon as you get off the throttle.

Audi A4 Rideing

The Audi A4 has a very good ride and the suspension soaks up bumps with ease. There is no stiffness and the sedan remains fairly composed most of the times. The suspension also feels very silent and there are no unnecessary thuds on sharp undulations too. Talking about the steering, it is direct and precise but lacks feel and even though it provides safe and predictable handling, it just lacks the involvement that rivals in the same segment provide. You can better the steering feel by switching to Dynamic mode which stiffens the wheel. The suspension remains the same in all the modes though. The tyres have excellent grip and even the stopping power is very good.

Audi A4 Safety

The Audi A4 features disc brakes with calipers and anti-lock braking system, and electronic stability control program for effective braking and controlling. The Audi A4 specifications for safety include front airbags for the driver and co-passenger, head airbags, and side airbags for the rear seat occupants. The additional safety features include a reversing camera, and parking aid at the front and rear for safe parking of the car.

Audi A4 Bottomline

This is not an S4, but if you ask me, it is the next best thing. Like a watered-down version of it. The car most certainly resonates with some sort of exclusivity and sportiness, yet it looks like it is trying to keep it all to itself. No badges on it. It is gray, dignified, but sophisticated in some strange way. It looks like a definition of a sleeper. Only if it could have a bit more power. That would be awesome. Wait a minute, would you remap the ECU on a highly limited Audi A4? Would that be a bit too much?

Some Of The SEO Mistakes To Avoid In 2018

SEO Agency in Hyderabad

Many businesses are so eager to get ranked in Google that they over-do it. They use aggressive SEO techniques that ultimately backfire, pushing their website further and further down the rankings…

It reminds me of the guy who is trying so hard to impress a girl that he ends up doing the complete opposite – she runs away. When you over-do it with Google, she’ll push you away as well!. For Digital Marketing Company Check Vivid Digital

So, in today’s article, I’m going to walk you through 4 “over-optimization” mistakes to avoid to ensure you don’t get pushed away by Google.

1. Stuffing Keywords into Page Titles

Google looks at the title of every page, and it helps to tell Google what your page is about. Your titles have a major impact on how your pages will rank in Google.

In case you’re not familiar, your title is part of the code of each page. It’s actually not visible on the webpage itself, but if you open up a browser, in the upper left-hand corner of that browser, you’ll see the title of the page.

(For a primer on how to find meta tags, read this article: How to find title tags and meta descriptions)

Because of the weight Google puts on titles, a lot of people try to force their keywords repetitively in the title. I see this mistake very often when I’m reviewing websites.

Back in the day, this type of keyword stuffing could improve your search engine rankings. But these days, that tactic does not work as well. Instead, it can be counter-productive.

It’s important to include your keyword in the title, but if you repeat your keywords a lot or include lots of different variations unnaturally, that can actually hurt your search engine rankings because Google will see that as manipulative.

And here’s another way that stuffing your titles with keywords can backfire…

The title is actually what shows up in the search results – it’s the blue underlined link in Google’s search results. And if you’ve just put a lot of keywords as the title, then when somebody does search, and your website shows up, then that’s going to look pretty spammy.

2. Forcing Keywords into Your Webpage Copy

The second over-optimization tactic I see all the time is stuffing keywords into the actual webpage copy.

Before, I was talking about stuffing keywords into the title. From a website visitor’s standpoint, you could sort of fly under the radar stuffing keywords into your title tag, because most people actually don’t notice that when they’re on your website.

But putting keywords directly into the body of the webpage is obviously much more noticeable to your website visitors. For more info click SEO Agency London

If you force keywords into your copy, your website visitors will read unnatural sentences and random keywords stuffed into the content. That looks really spammy, and it can be counter-productive for your ultimate marketing goals.

After all, what’s the goal of SEO anyway?

It’s not just rankings. And it’s not just traffic either. The ultimate goal of SEO should be to generate leads and sales. And if your website content is spammy, that could really hurt your website conversions.

Plus, if you force keywords into your website copy, Google will see that as unnatural and spammy as well. And that can hurt your search engine rankings. So it’s just not a good idea.

3. Creating Near-Duplicate Pages Purely For SEO

Imagine you’re a dentist, and you wanted to rank for the keyword phrase “New York City dentist.” You might create a page on your website focused around that keyword phrase, right? Maybe you’d optimize your homepage for that phrase.

But then, you might decide you’d also like to rank for a similar phrase like “Manhattan dentist.” And so, maybe you’d create a page for that keyword phrase too.

And so on, and so on.

Creating those near-duplicate pages used to work OK years ago…

But not today.

Google has gotten smarter at figuring out that a lot of different keywords are synonyms with the same search intent. And the Hummingbird update improved Google’s abilities even more.

You don’t need to have two different pages for New York City dentist and Manhattan dentist because Google understands that’s the same search, so they’ll display the same results for that.

Instead of creating near-duplicate pages for different synonyms, you should group your keywords into topics, and then create the best page you can for each topic.

4. Over-Optimized Anchor Text

When it comes to SEO, you need to build up your website’s authority.

And a major factor in your website’s authority is the quantity and quality of links from other websites that are linking to your website. You can basically think of a link from another website as a vote in your favor.

Every link to your website has what’s called anchor text, which is the clickable text. This anchor text helps Google understand what a particular page is about.

Again, imagine you’re a dentist based in Manhattan, and you want to get your website ranking at the top of Google for “New York City dentist.”

Wouldn’t it be great if lots of websites linked to your website with the anchor text New York City dentist? That would help you reach the top of Google for that phrase.

And so, that’s how a lot of companies have approach SEO for years. They would go out and build tons of links with identical or very similar anchor text.

When we’re conducting an SEO audit, we’ll take a look at a website’s link profile, and see how many links they have and where they’re coming from, and the anchor text of those links.

Often, we find that websites have very highly-concentrated anchor text, with almost all the incoming links containing the same keyword phrases. Well, this is extremely unlikely to happen naturally!

Google knows that, and increasingly, this type of linking has become a big red flag to Google. When Google sees this, they know you are trying to manipulate the search results. As a result, taking this approach with your SEO can do more harm than good over the long-term. For more SEO Services visit emikolo.com

Google’s Penguin updates and “unnatural link” penalties are focused on devaluing (or penalizing) these unnatural linking schemes. So you should avoid building links to your website with overly-concentrated anchor text.

If you’re in business for the long-term (which I hope you are!), then it makes sense to take a long-term approach to SEO. By avoiding these 4 mistakes, you’ll stay on Google’s good side and protect your rankings for the long-term.
